About the event
The Go John Trail explores the rugged beauty of the Sonoran Desert. It's located in the Cave Creek Regional Park.
There are many beautiful vistas to stop and admire the surrounding desert landscape. The summit view rewards hikers for their hard effort by offering breathtaking sights of the expansive desert. It is suggested to get an early start as it begins to warm up quickly, and there is not much shade on the trail.
5.8 miles and about 900 ft of elevation gain.
